- About Speak Up -
I actually wanted an Indonesian to feature in my album as well. I contact many Indonesian beatboxers, I wanted Ego Firnando and Neolizer. However, I didn't got no response from them. Then I contact Yusuf Sintesa, he got an issue while recording, so it didn't happened. I really wanted to have an Indonesian. Then I remember Sady but I knew him as Sadam because I was the judge for Java Beatbox Festival in 2013, Sadam was crowned as the champion. Then Sadam renamed himself to Sady for his stagename. He stated to play with Boss Loopstation RC-505. He then later was crowned as 2017 Asia Beatbox Champion in Loopstation category. I contacted Sady and discuss how my workflow over Skype. I showed him a sample how the album will be mixed. He listened to it how clear the track is mixed and he was very interested to be in it. I asked him to record some of his beatbox library and he sent me over his sounds. From there I arranged and composed this track in tempo of half time for Drum And Bass. The glitch part was very much influenced by one of Sady's routine. I did a speed beatbox routine as the climax before it ends. The cough before I started doing this routine, it is actually a real cough because it was that many takes I didn't have any breaks. However, this take was the best out of all. Intentionally, I wanted SkilleR to be in but he was too busy. Then I contacted Shah from Uzbekistan but he was busy too. Part 2, I guess?
